A Message from the William E. Cottle Elementary School- The Cottle Weekly

Dear Cottle Families,
Mr. Morash and I hope all of the mothers out there had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend, you certainly deserve it. May is half-way over!. It is hard to believe we only have a few short weeks left until summer is here. This school year has gone by quickly. When we think back to where we started in September, I am in complete awe of everything our students have accomplished this school year. It has been an INCREDIBLE year full of learning and fun! Every day our students arrive committed to the learning adventure. We are thankful for our teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff for taking great care of our students, supporting each individual child’s educational, social, and emotional needs, and keeping our Promise of “Preparing Every Student for Excellence''. We appreciate every parent for all of the love and guidance you have given your children and the support you have given to our school this year. Thank you for trusting us with your children.
Last night our Third Graders put on a wonderful performance during their Spring Recorder concert. A big shout out to Ms. Kim and our Third graders for rocking out at a packed Cottle Auditorium last night. We still have our Chorus, Band and Strings concerts left so please come out and support our Cottle Cubs. #GOCOTTLE.

Please join us on June 3rd at 4 p.m. in the Cottle Art room for a Paint Party Fundraiser graciously hosted by the Tuckahoe Athletic Council! You'll get step by step instruction on how to create your own masterpiece that you will be able to take home. All paint supplies are included. Please email the Tuckahoe Athletic Council to reserve your spot. The deadline to reserve your spot is May 31st. Remember the goal of the Tuckahoe Athletic Council is to nurture school spirit throughout the community while providing support to the district's athletic programs. SEE YOU THERE!!!!
